No Show Family Fun Fest - An Online Event

As you may have heard this day will be a stat on February 19th, 2013. Although we know it is typically unconventional on the web to pay to enter a website, the Abbotsford Food Bank worked hard to compile a great group of musicians, entertainers, VIP Guests and a raffle with great prizes. A raffle ticket is included with the admission!

We are always excited to build out new and customized online experiences. We designed and developed the website to cater to kids of all ages. Family friendly entertainment to appeal to everyone! We built it using a responsive grid so the website can be enjoyed on smartphones, tablets and computers alike. From February 9th - March 9th the website will be up. The $20/family admission goes straight to helping the programs and services the Abbotsford Food Bank provides and it was our priviledge to work with them to make it come to life.

We utilized the open source content management system concrete5 to make all parts of the website easily updateable. We custom built the online auction area with fabulous items from wonderful sponsors. We also tied into Concrete5's user management system to handle the authentication, manage users and programmed a tie-in to allow users to transact through Pay-Pal. But enough about the technical details, lets get to the good stuff... the online event!
